Part V: Holmes 330 Junior “Sally” Restoration

Many of you have been asking about the project, and the restoration of the Holmes 330 Junior is almost complete! A lot of progress has been made since our last post. Most of the paintwork is complete with a few minor exceptions.

Jeremey Tankersley (Tank), our Customer Service Supervisor has had a lot of help from Terry Aken with painting and adding the finishing touches to this project.

Along with Terry’s help with the final painting and miscellaneous unexpected nuances that have occurred in the final stages of the process, Tank also had a lot of additional help from Vance Dobbins, who specializes in custom hand lettering vehicles.

Once complete, the truck will proudly reside at the new Children’s Hospital at Erlanger in Chattanooga, TN

The “official” unveiling of the Holmes 330 Junior restoration truck, “Sally” will occur this Saturday at a fundraiser for the hospital.
