One of the most important preparations a tow truck operator can do, is to make sure the wire rope on their recovery winch is tightly wrapped on the winch drum. This process is referred to as “power wrapping”. This video discusses the importance of power wrapping the wire rope on your wrecker and carrier winches, while also demonstrating one technique that can be used to complete the power wrapping process.

The Holmes 330 Junior restoration is starting to come together. More preparation work continues before Jeremy Tankersley “Tank” and Co. are able to begin painting and putting the pieces back together.

On Tuesday, March 6th we donated proceeds totaling over $10,000 to the International Towing & Recovery Museum and Hall of Fame. The (I.T.R.H.F.M.)- International Towing and Recovery Museum and Hall of Fame is located in Chattanooga, TN.

The progress continues with the Holmes 330 Junior restoration for the new Children’s Hospital at Erlanger in Chattanooga. Miller Industries Customer Service Supervisor, Jeremy Tankersley “Tank”, with help from his uncle Mark Dodd had to seek out a suitable cab to use for the restoration project.
